Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida
Saturdays & Sundays at 1:00 p.m.
Take a guided tour of the Museum’s core exhibition, “Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida.” Your visit will cover the birth of Miami, pre-Columbian civilizations, and South Florida pioneer life. Tours differ each day based on the Museum educator’s background knowledge and areas of interest. Tour is approximately 40 minutes long.

Join a highlights tour of one of our temporary exhibitions with a HistoryMiami educator. Tour is approximately 40 minutes long.
Starting on Saturday, April 4 – “Embracing the Lens: The BlackFlorida Project”
Starting on Saturday, May 23 – “It’s a Miami Thing: Highlights From Our Collection”
*** Gallery tours are available for individuals and small groups of nine or less. If you are visiting as part of a larger group, please contact 305-375-1625 to organize your group visit. Weekend programming not available on second Saturdays due to Free Family Fun Days and it is subject to change without notice.
